What is a Charter Flight?

Charter flights may consist of an on-demand, ad-hoc flight where a customer enters into an agreement with the charter airline to fly to and from the origination and arrival destinations of their choice and the times they desire. Charter flights may also consist of track programs for a tour operator where Miami Air International flies a set of continuous flights to move people back and forth between destinations such as a Caribbean island for vacationers, or to a location to take workers to and from a specific job location. Miami Air International also offers to other airlines flights on an Aircraft Crew Maintenance & Insurance (ACMI) basis where we simply provide an aircraft and crew to fly routes and we take care of the maintenance and insurance.
