Celebrate New Year’s Eve by Booking a Private Jet to Atlanta, Georgia

by Karen 4. December 2013

When it comes to ringing in the New Year, consider booking a private jet with us and heading towards Atlanta, Georgia. Each year, the city hosts a wide variety of incredible New Year’s Eve events including the famous Chick-fil-A Bowl Game and the Peach Drop.

In 2013, the Chick-fil-A-Bowl Game is expected to take place at the Georgia Dome, which is not far from the Hartsfield International Airport. Home to the Atlanta Falcons, it is purportedly the largest stadium of its kind in the entire world. The day’s festivities are tentatively slated to kickoff at 1 p.m. in the downtown area with the Chick-fil-A Bowl Parade. It is a complimentary event that typically lasts for 90 minutes.

From there, everyone is expected to make their way to the Georgia World Congress Center for the FanFest. It begins at 2:30 p.m. There is also a MVP tailgate party scheduled, which is anticipated to begin at 4 p.m. Both are ticketed events and tend to sell out quickly. So it’s best to secure a spot at either one early on. The football game itself is set to begin at 8 p.m.

The Peach Drop, on the other hand, is scheduled to take place at Underground Atlanta. Considered to be the largest, free New Year’s Eve event in the Southeast, it will start at 6 p.m. with live entertainment. Providing that you are of age, you’ll be able to purchase food and alcoholic beverages while on site. We should also note that public transportation, lodging and event parking is available nearby.

To learn more about booking a private jet to enjoy Atlanta’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, please contact us at Miami Air International. Our charter airline’s services are perfect for such occasions. We feature both first and business class seating arrangements for private groups. A maximum of 172 passengers can fit comfortably on a single aircraft. In addition, you’ll have the option of requesting a custom, in-flight menu and open bar.

Charter Winter Sports Flights to Ski at Mammoth Mountain, California

by Karen 4. December 2013

Each year ski groups flock to Mammoth Lakes, California and for valid reasons. To begin with, its home to the state’s highest resort and miles of varied ski trails. It’s also frequently the site of memorable winter events steeped in Golden State hospitality. So why not charter first class sports flights to the area this year? That way, your group can enjoy a bit of California’s renowned powder too.

Think about it. By securing our charter aircraft, you’ll be able to customize your group’s ski trip like never before. For example, you can select your group’s own boarding options, arrival/departure dates, cabin configuration, menus and in-flight entertainment. So they’ll be no doubt that you and your fellow skiers will arrive refreshed and ready to hit the slopes.

Because Mammoth Lakes is considered to be a resort town, there is no shortage of first class lodging either. As such, your ski group will be able to unwind each night in a luxury condo, cabin lodge or other overnight facility of your choice.

When it comes to first class dining, consider booking a private catering service. One that operates in the area is Chef Daniel Molnar. He’ll serve your group customized, 3-course gourmet meals in their rooms, a banquet hall or anywhere else your heart desires.

Of course you could also opt to go with an unusual dining experience instead. For example, there are companies in the area that offer snowcat dinners. One of them, the Parallax Snowcat Dinner, is available at Mammoth Mountain.  Essentially, your entire group takes a snowcat ride to a secluded location. Once there, the chef prepares a special meal complete with stunning views.

Charter Big Planes and Celebrate the Holidays in Phoenix, Arizona

by Karen 13. November 2013

Situated in the Grand Canyon State is the 6th largest city in the country, Phoenix. Although it is a great place to visit year round, the winter months are particularly pleasurable. That’s because it’s the time of year when Arizona’s residents break out the holiday finery. With that in mind, you may want to charter big planes with us and celebrate the holidays in Phoenix.

One celebratory activity to enjoy while you’re there is the Annual Las Noches de Las Luminarias. It takes place all December long at the Desert Botanical Garden on North Galvin Parkway. During the annual event, the garden grounds are adorned with stunning luminaries. Live musical entertainment, festive bell ringers and onsite dining are typically on offer too. This year should be exceptionally wonderful because the facility will be commemorating its 75th anniversary at the same time.

Of course the Annual Las Noches de Las Luminarias won’t be the only winter event taking place in Phoenix. The Arizona Latino Arts & Cultural Center will be holding its Annual Christmas Celebration and Mercado as well. It’s a street fair type of event and typically takes place on Adams Street. Activities on offer include listening to live music, dancing, shopping for gifts and sampling ethnic cuisine.

There are also several places to go ice skating in Phoenix. They include the Desert Ridge Marketplace on North Tatum Boulevard and the CitySkate Holiday Ice Rink on East Washington Street. Both places offer ice skate rentals. Because it’s completely free, the marketplace site is the best place to go if you are hoping to save a few bucks. They tend to hold complimentary, holiday story hours at that location too. The CitySkate managers, on the other hand, generally charge a modest admission fee. However, there’s also a large holiday tree to gaze at and onsite refreshments available.

For more details on chartering big planes to enjoy the best of Phoenix’s winter offerings, please contact us. At Miami Air International, we have both 737-400s and 737-800s in our fleet. So we can accommodate groups up to 168 people on one plane.
